Product Description

The APPLETON GRX125 is a Style X explosionproof conduit outlet box designed for hazardous location wiring installations. Built from zinc electroplated dichromate epoxy powder coated malleable iron, this round box provides four external side hubs at 1-1/4 inch size and a 31 cubic inch internal capacity. The externally threaded cover opening measures 3.94 inches in diameter. Malleable iron construction delivers high tensile strength, ductility, and resistance to corrosion, impact, and shock. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this fitting where code requires explosionproof enclosures in classified areas.

The GRX125 is rated for Class I Division 1 and 2 Group B, C, and D atmospheres and Class II Division 1 and 2 Group E, F, and G environments, as well as Class III locations. It also meets NEMA 3 and 4 ratings for raintight service.
