The APOLLO VALVES WD14103BE10 is a 3-inch ductile iron butterfly valve in a wafer-style body configuration, part of the WD141 Series. It features an aluminum bronze disc, an EPDM seat, and a 416 stainless steel bare shaft. This valve is designed for flow control in industrial, commercial, HVAC, and mechanical piping systems. The bare shaft design accepts pneumatic actuators or gear operators, making it adaptable for both manual and automated applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this valve between companion flanges in a variety of fluid handling systems.
The WD141 Series wafer-style butterfly valve is suited for industrial and commercial HVAC and mechanical applications where a compact, low-profile valve is needed between standard pipe flanges. Available in sizes 2 through 12 inches in the wafer configuration and 2 through 24 inches in the companion lug configuration as the LD141 Series. The EPDM seat material is appropriate for water and many common HVAC system fluids. The ISO 5211 top plate allows direct mounting of Apollo pneumatic actuators or gear operators without additional bracket hardware.
Compatible with ANSI 125 and ANSI 150 flanges. Accepts Apollo pneumatic actuators and gear operators via the ISO 5211 top plate. Part of the WD141 Series wafer-style line, available in 2 through 12 inch sizes. The companion lug-style version is the LD141 Series. Conforms to MSS SP-67 and API 609.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified mechanical contractor. Isolate and depressurize the pipeline and drain the system before removing or installing this valve. The wafer body must be centered carefully between companion flanges to ensure proper seat sealing. Refer to applicable mechanical codes and the actuator or gear operator manufacturer instructions when mounting automation hardware to the ISO 5211 top plate.
