The APOLLO POWERPRESS 7482189 is a carbon steel press reducing adapter engineered for natural gas and fuel gas distribution systems. It transitions a 1-inch press connection to a 3/4-inch female end, enabling diameter reductions in above-ground gas piping without open flame or welding. The fitting is manufactured from ASTM A420 carbon steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance. A factory-installed HNBR sealing element rated for fuel gas service is integrated into the press end, delivering a leak-resistant connection that meets ASTM and CSA compliance requirements. Licensed gas fitters and mechanical contractors install this fitting in residential and light commercial gas rough-in work.

This adapter is suited for above-ground natural gas and fuel gas piping applications where press-to-connect systems are specified.
