The ANSELL riglvcvr110 is a natural leather overglove engineered to be worn over Class electrical insulating rubber gloves as a mechanical protector. Rated to EN 388:2016, it delivers moderate abrasion, puncture, cut, and tear resistance without sacrificing the dexterity needed for hands-on electrical work. The leather construction provides a durable outer layer that guards the insulating glove beneath from physical damage on the job site. Sold as a pair, this overglove is a standard component of compliant electrical PPE ensembles used by licensed electricians and utility technicians working on or near energized equipment.
The riglvcvr110 is suited for residential and commercial electrical service work where ASTM D120 or EN 60903 rubber insulating gloves are required. Size 11 accommodates larger hands. The overglove is part of the ActivArmr 96-002 series and is intended for use wherever regulations or jobsite safety programs mandate a leather protector over rubber insulating gloves. Standards compliance includes ASTM D120, ASTM F696, EN 388:2015, EN 60903, and ISO 9001 certification of the manufacturing process.
Designed as a leather protector overglove for use over Class electrical rubber insulating gloves meeting ASTM D120 or EN 60903 specifications, consistent with the ActivArmr 96-002 series application requirements.
Donning and inspection of electrical insulating gloves and leather protectors must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NFPA 70E or site-specific PPE policies. Inspect the rubber insulating glove for damage or air loss before placing the leather overglove on top. Never use the leather protector alone as electrical insulation protection — it provides only mechanical resistance. Replace if the leather shows cuts, punctures, or significant wear that could compromise the integrity of the underlying insulating glove.
