The ANSELL GR40-T92-215-03 is a disposable chemical-resistant coat apron built for dual-hazard environments where both liquid chemical splash and particulate exposure are a concern. Constructed from a multi-layer non-woven barrier laminate fabric at 0.34 mil thickness, this apron measures 69 inches in length and 36 inches in width, providing full front coverage from chest to below the knee. Welded and taped seams prevent liquid ingress at seam points. It is sized for medium builds and closes with ties in back supplemented by hook-and-loop fasteners. Industrial hygienists, hazmat responders, chemical plant technicians, and laboratory personnel are the primary installers and wearers of this garment.
This apron is suited for tasks involving incidental splash or spray from hazardous liquid chemicals, as well as environments requiring light particulate barrier protection. It is part of the Alphatec 4000 Model 215 series, which is designed for single-use deployment in industrial, laboratory, and emergency response settings. The dual-hazard classification makes it appropriate for applications where both chemical liquid and biological hazard exposure must be managed simultaneously. Each package contains 20 aprons, and the minimum order quantity is 1 package.
Meets CE Category III Type 3-B, EN 14126, and Type PB [4]-B standards, making this apron appropriate for use in applications where those certifications are required by site safety protocols.
This garment is donned and doffed by safety personnel, industrial hygienists, or workers following site-specific PPE protocols — no tools are required. Always inspect the apron for tears, punctures, or compromised seams before each use. Follow your facility or regulatory doffing procedure to avoid self-contamination when removing after chemical exposure. Dispose of used aprons in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal hazardous waste regulations.
