The ANSELL 285813 is a medium-duty work glove from the 28-507 series, designed for workers who need cut protection, reliable grip, and hand dexterity in a single package. The shell is constructed from a cotton and Kevlar blend, providing ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A2 performance. A 3/4-dip nitrile coating covers the palm, fingers, and knuckles, delivering a smooth grip surface and resistance to abrasion rated at ANSI/ISEA Level 4. The seamless Kevlar and cotton lining reduces interior friction and irritation during extended wear. This glove is sold as a pair and sized for medium hands, fitting both men and women depending on hand size. Licensed HVAC techs, plumbers, pipefitters, and general maintenance crews commonly reach for this style of coated glove.
The 285813 is suited for medium-duty tasks where cut hazards are present alongside a need for tactile feedback. Typical applications include handling sheet metal, pipe, fittings, conduit, and other edged materials encountered in mechanical and electrical trades. The nitrile-coated palm provides grip on oily or greasy surfaces without sacrificing finger mobility. The knit safety cuff in coyote color helps keep the glove in place during active work. Static dissipative construction makes this glove appropriate for environments where electrostatic discharge is a concern. This glove meets ANSI, EN ISO 21420:2020, and Ecovadis 2022 standards, and carries an EN 388 rating of 4231BX.
Designed as a medium-duty work glove for trade and industrial applications requiring ANSI A2 cut resistance. Sized medium, fitting men's medium or women's small hand sizes according to manufacturer sizing guidance.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable ANSI/ISEA hand protection standards when selecting gloves for a specific hazard level. Do not use these gloves as a substitute for arc flash or high-voltage electrical PPE. Dispose of or replace gloves when the coating shows significant wear or the shell integrity is compromised.
