The ANSELL 218711 is a general purpose work glove designed for trade and industrial environments where hand protection is required during metal handling, fabrication, and assembly operations. Built on a cotton shell with split leather construction and a full nitrile palm-dip coating, this glove delivers abrasion resistance rated ANSI/ISEA Level 3 while maintaining dexterity for picking parts and press shop tasks. The knit or gauntlet cuff option provides a secure fit at the wrist. Sold as a pair, this unisex glove is sized for medium hands and carries CE certification to EN 388:2016 and EN ISO 21420:2020 standards, making it suitable for compliant PPE programs on job sites and shop floors.
This glove is intended for metalworking and assembly applications including handling metal sheets and panels, feeding press equipment, removing spare parts, fabricating metal components, and handling glass sheets. The full-fingered, wing-thumb design supports gripping tasks common in light manufacturing, press shop operations, and general fabrication environments. The solid nitrile coating on the palm provides a consistent grip surface across these applications. Suitable for use up to a maximum of 104 degrees F ambient temperature.
Designed as an OEM-style general purpose work glove suited for metalworking, press shop, and light fabrication environments requiring ANSI/ISEA and EN 388 compliant hand protection.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, punctures, or coating separation that may compromise protection. This product is a PPE item — fitting and selection should follow the facility safety program and applicable ANSI/ISEA 105 hand protection guidelines. Do not use these gloves in applications involving rotating machinery where a catch or entanglement hazard exists unless site risk assessment confirms suitability. Replace gloves when the nitrile coating shows visible wear or loss of integrity.
