The ANSELL 11731110 is a palm-coated, puncture-resistant work glove built for tasks that demand cut protection, tactile sensitivity, and durability in a lightweight package. The glove is constructed with an 18-gauge seamless liner made from fiberglass, HPPE, nylon, and spandex, and finished with a smooth polyurethane dip coating on the palm and fingers. It carries an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A2, an ANSI/ISEA Puncture Resistance Level 3, and an ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 3. The polyurethane coating delivers a reliable grip on dry surfaces while keeping the glove thin enough for precision hand work. At approximately 0.1 pounds per unit, it adds minimal bulk. Licensed trades and general industry workers handling light sheet metal, small components, or assembly tasks are the primary users.
This glove fits into light-to-medium duty applications where cut and puncture hazards are present but full hand encapsulation is not required. The palm-only coating preserves breathability across the back of the hand during extended wear. The knit cuff provides a snug, secure fit at the wrist. With an overall length of 10.5 inches and a sizing of 2X-Large, it suits workers who need a roomier fit without sacrificing dexterity. The glove meets ANSI, EN ISO 21420:2020, and Ecovadis 2022 standards and carries an EN 388 rating of 4X42B, making it suitable for workplaces with documented PPE compliance requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-stock work glove for 2X-Large hand sizes in light assembly, inspection, and material handling applications requiring ANSI A2 cut resistance and polyurethane palm coating.
Inspect gloves prior to each use for tears, coating separation, or compromised seams, and remove from service if damage is found. Confirm glove selection meets the site hazard assessment requirements under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 or applicable local PPE regulations. Do not use these gloves in applications involving blood-borne pathogen exposure, static-sensitive environments, or tasks requiring chemical resistance, as this glove is not rated for those hazards.
