The ANDERSON METALS 756103-12 is a lead-free pipe coupling designed for threaded pipe connections in a wide range of industrial and plumbing applications. Configured with 3/4-14 female threads on both ends and an FNPT connection type, this coupling joins two male-threaded pipe sections into a continuous run. It carries a maximum working pressure rating of 1,000 psi, making it suitable for moderate- to high-pressure service lines. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in potable water systems, fuel lines, grease distribution, and LP or natural gas supply lines where a reliable, code-compliant threaded union is required.
This coupling is appropriate for both residential and light commercial installations. Its lead-free construction meets requirements for potable water service, and its pressure rating supports use in fuel and gas distribution systems as well. Typical install scenarios include connecting sections of threaded steel or compatible pipe in mechanical rooms, utility areas, and equipment supply lines. The 3/4-14 thread size is a common trade standard for mid-range pipe work across plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems.
Rated for use with potable water, grease, fuels, LP gas, and natural gas systems. Designed as a standard FNPT threaded coupling for 3/4-inch nominal pipe diameter applications in plumbing and industrial piping.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes, including the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) where relevant. Shut off the supply line and relieve system pressure completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly, and tighten to a snug, leak-free fit using pipe wrenches. Do not over-tighten FNPT connections, as this can crack fittings or damage threads.
