The ANDERSON METALS 750071-0606 is a lead-free brass compression tube male run tee designed for fluid distribution systems requiring a reliable branch connection. It features compression inlet and outlet connections on the run with a male NPT branch port, allowing a straight tube run to accept a threaded male connection at the tee branch. The fitting is rated to 2000 psi maximum working pressure, making it suitable for demanding plumbing and refrigeration-related tubing applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during new construction and retrofit work where lead-free materials are required by code.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic, and fluid-handling installations where copper or compatible tubing meets a male-threaded component. The 3/8 inch NPT thread size and compression connections on both run ends allow integration into existing tube runs without special tooling beyond a compression fitting wrench. It is commonly used in potable water, fuel gas accessory lines, and similar systems where lead-free brass construction meets regulatory requirements.
Designed as a standard OEM-style compression tube male run tee for use in plumbing and fluid-handling systems that require 3/8 inch NPT connections with compression tube ends on the run.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off and depressurize the supply line completely before disassembling existing fittings or installing this tee. Use an appropriately sized compression sleeve and nut for the tubing diameter; do not overtighten compression fittings as this can deform the ferrule and cause leaks. Apply thread sealant to the male NPT branch port per code requirements before making up the threaded connection.
