The ANDERSON METALS 750068-0404 is a straight compression tube connector machined from lead free brass, designed to join compression tubing to a male NPT threaded port. It features a compression end on one side and a male NPT end on the other, making it a direct union between soft tubing runs and threaded pipe or equipment ports. Rated to 3000 psi maximum working pressure, this connector is built for demanding plumbing, refrigeration, and instrumentation applications where a reliable, leak-free joint is required. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics regularly use this fitting type during system assembly and service work.
This connector is suited for residential and commercial plumbing systems, HVAC refrigerant line connections where applicable, pneumatic tubing runs, and instrumentation plumbing. It is appropriate wherever a 1/4 inch NPT male threaded port must be joined to a compression tube line. The straight thread size is 7/16-24, and the NPT thread standard applies to the male end. End connections are compression on one side and MNPT on the other, allowing integration into both tubing and threaded piping systems without additional adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for plumbing and fluid system applications requiring a 1/4 inch NPT compression-to-male-NPT connection in lead free brass.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician. Shut off system pressure and relieve any residual line pressure before disassembling or installing compression fittings. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the MNPT threads per local plumbing code requirements; do not over-torque brass fittings. Ensure the compression nut and ferrule are fully seated on the tubing before tightening to avoid leaks at the compression joint.
