The ANDERSON METALS 750066-0202 is a straight compression tube connector designed to join a compression-end tube to a female NPT-threaded port. Constructed from lead free brass, this fitting provides a reliable, leak-resistant connection in fluid and gas distribution systems where both compression and FNPT end connections are required. With a maximum working pressure rating of 400 psi, it is suited for moderate-pressure service lines. The compact form factor and standard NPT thread sizing make it a practical replacement or addition in plumbing and instrumentation tubing runs. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipe fitters regularly stock this style of fitting for maintenance and new-installation work.
This fitting is appropriate for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and water line service, and instrumentation tubing applications where a compression tube must terminate at a female NPT port. Its 1/8 inch NPT thread size and 5/16-24 straight thread size position it for small-diameter tubing connections. The lead free brass construction meets requirements for potable water contact in applicable jurisdictions. It is a standard catalog fitting used wherever a compact, field-reusable compression-to-FNPT transition is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard service fitting for compression tube-to-female NPT connections in plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation systems requiring a 1/8 inch NPT thread interface.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable codes including IPC and IFGC where relevant. Shut off the water or gas supply and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then snug with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can deform the compression ferrule and cause leaks. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the FNPT threads as required by local code and manufacturer practice.
