The AMETEK 132526 is an analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping applications. It features a 6-inch dial for easy reading at a distance and a lower-mount 1/2-inch threaded connection for direct inline installation. The Bourdon-tube style gauge reads from 0 to 100 psi with an accuracy of 0.5 percent of scale, making it suitable for applications where reliable pressure verification is required. The thermoplastic case provides resistance to corrosion and impact in typical mechanical room and utility environments. This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial mechanical systems where a durable, readable pressure instrument is needed at a panel, manifold, pump outlet, or test port. Lower-mount (bottom connection) configuration allows vertical stem installation directly into a tee, valve body, or pressure port. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC and IFGC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or fitting the new gauge into the pressure port. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the 1/2-inch male threads before installation; do not overtighten, as thermoplastic-cased gauges can crack under excessive torque. Verify that system operating pressure does not exceed the gauge range during normal and transient conditions.
