The AMETEK 132524 is an analog process pressure gauge rated from 0 to 30 psi, featuring a 6-inch dial for clear readability at a distance. Built around a thermoplastic case and stainless steel wetted parts, it is engineered for process applications where corrosion resistance and accuracy matter. The gauge delivers 0.5 percent of scale accuracy, making it suitable for monitoring low-pressure systems in HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial process lines. It mounts from the lower port using a 1/2-inch NPT connection and is not liquid filled. Licensed tradespeople and process technicians typically specify this gauge for panel or inline installations.
The 132524 is designed for use in residential and commercial process monitoring applications. Its lower-mount configuration suits direct pipe-thread installations on pressure lines, pump outlets, compressor discharge ports, and similar service points. The 6-inch dial diameter and analog display make it well suited for wall-panel mounting or installations where the gauge must be read from several feet away. It fits standard 1/2-inch NPT threaded ports found throughout HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation process gauge for systems with 1/2-inch NPT lower-mount ports operating in the 0 to 30 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or process pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Isolate and depressurize the line completely before removing an existing gauge or threading in this unit. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe compound to the male NPT threads, being careful not to obstruct the port opening. Hand-tighten first, then use an appropriate wrench on the gauge hex fitting only, not the case body.
