The AMERICAN PLUMBING PARTSMASTER 6322 is a standard O-ring seal used in plumbing and fluid-handling systems to prevent leaks at joints, valves, and fittings. It features a 1.0625-inch outer diameter, a 1.5-inch inner diameter, and a 0.0625-inch wall (cross-section) thickness. This O-ring is sized for direct drop-in service in applications where a close-tolerance elastomeric seal is required. Licensed plumbers and service technicians install this type of seal during valve rebuilds, fixture repairs, and pump servicing where maintaining a pressure-tight connection is critical.
This O-ring is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications including valve stems, cartridge assemblies, union connections, and threaded fittings that require a compressible face or radial seal. Its dimensions make it a common replacement part during routine maintenance or repair of shutoff valves, ball valves, and similar plumbing components where the original seal has worn, cracked, or taken a compression set.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement O-ring for plumbing valves, cartridges, and fittings requiring a 1.0625-inch OD by 1.5-inch ID by 0.0625-inch wall seal.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified service technician. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before disassembling any valve or fitting. Inspect the seating groove for damage or debris before installing the new O-ring, and lubricate with a compatible plumber-grade silicone grease to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants, as they can degrade elastomeric seals.
