The holder stands 2.125 inches overall height with a 3.5 inch overall length, and its centerline height measures 1.4375 inches. Licensed machinists and lathe operators install this holder as part of a quick-change tool post system, allowing fast, repeatable tool changes without resetting centerline height between operations.

The CXA-1 is suited for use on mid-size manual lathes in job shops, tool rooms, and maintenance machine shops. It is compatible with other CXA-series quick-change tool post systems.
