The ALORIS CA35 is a dovetail drill chuck holder designed for use with quick-change lathe tool post systems in the CA series. It accepts drill chucks for boring, drilling, and reaming operations directly on the lathe, eliminating the need to transfer workpieces to a drill press. The CA35 is sized for lathes with a swing range of 14 to 20 inches and provides an overall height of 2.5 inches with a centerline height of 2.5625 inches. Maximum cutting tool size is 0.75 inches. Licensed machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary installers of this holder in production and job shop environments.

The CA35 fits lathes in the 14-to-20-inch swing class, making it appropriate for mid-size engine lathes commonly found in production shops, maintenance facilities, and vocational training environments. It mounts to any compatible CA-series quick-change tool post, allowing fast changeover between turning, boring, and drilling operations without resetting center height. Through-coolant is not supported on this holder.
