The ALORIS CA-13 is a Series CA extension tool holder designed for use on engine lathes and turret lathes with a swing range of 14 to 20 inches. It mounts to compatible quick-change tool post systems and positions the cutting tool at a centerline height of 1-11/16 inches, with an overall height of 2-1/2 inches. The CA-13 accepts tool bits ranging from 1/2 inch up to 1 inch and handles a maximum cutting tool size of 1 inch. Extension holders are used when additional reach is needed to position the tool past obstructions or to access deep cuts that standard holders cannot reach. This holder is installed by machinists and tool room professionals performing turning operations.

The CA-13 is suited for manual engine lathes and CNC lathes with compatible Series CA quick-change tool post systems.
