Installation is performed by a machinist or tool room technician. Disengage the lathe and confirm the spindle is fully stopped before changing or adjusting any tool post holder. Secure the holder firmly in the quick-change tool post and verify that the cutting tool is clamped within the specified tool bit range of 1/4 to 5/8 inch before resuming operation. Follow the lathe manufacturer guidelines for proper torque on clamping screws.
