The ALORIS AXA-4 is a boring bar holder designed for use with AXA-series quick-change tool posts on engine lathes with 12 inches of swing or under. It accepts boring bars up to 3/4 inch in diameter, with a 5/8 inch diameter capacity when using an optional bushing. Overall height is 1-1/2 inches and overall length is 3 inches, making it a compact, rigid holder suited to tight setups. Centerline height is 3/4 inch. Machinists and tool room technicians install this holder to hold boring bars securely in a repeatable, quick-change position without disturbing other tool offsets.

This holder fits residential and light commercial machine shop environments where AXA-series quick-change tool posts are in use.
