The ALLIED MACHINE AND ENGINEERING TM75010 is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal 3/4-10 UNC threads in a CNC machining environment. Built from solid carbide and coated with TiAlN for heat and wear resistance, this tool handles demanding thread milling operations with consistency. It features four right-hand flutes and a cutting diameter of 0.4950 inches, with a 0.5000-inch shank diameter for secure toolholder engagement. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production facilities, or toolrooms install and run this tool as part of a thread milling cycle to produce accurate internal UNC threads.
This thread mill is suited for internal threading applications requiring a 3/4-10 UNC thread form. With a length of cut of 1.25 inches and an overall length of 3.5 inches, it accommodates standard threading depths in a variety of workpiece materials. The TiAlN coating improves performance in harder materials and extends tool life compared to uncoated carbide. This tool is intended for use in CNC machining centers where helical interpolation thread milling cycles are supported. It does not include coolant-through capability, so external or flood coolant should be applied as needed.
Designed as an OEM-style thread milling tool for CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation, suited for producing 3/4-10 UNC internal threads in solid carbide-compatible workpiece materials.
This tool is installed and operated by CNC machinists or tool and die professionals using standard ER collet chucks or end mill holders compatible with a 0.5000-inch shank. Verify toolholder runout and clamp securely before beginning any thread milling cycle. Program the helical interpolation path according to the machine control and tooling manufacturer guidelines for the 3/4-10 UNC thread form. Since this tool does not feature coolant-through capability, ensure adequate external coolant flow is directed at the cutting zone to manage chip evacuation and heat.
