Part of the T-A 2 Series, this drill accepts interchangeable spade inserts to cover a drilling diameter range of 31/32 inches to 1-3/8 inches. It features a straight flute geometry and a 3MT taper shank for rigid mounting in compatible machine spindles. Through-coolant capability is delivered via a 2-radial entry coolant system with a 1/8 inch NPT coolant hole thread, keeping the cutting zone clear and extending insert life. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tooling specialists in production or job-shop environments.

This spade drill body is suited for general-purpose drilling in universal workpiece material categories including ferrous, non-ferrous, cast, and exotic alloy classifications.
