Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians following standard insert-change procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is secured in a vise or tool block before replacing the insert. Verify the insert seats flush against the pocket floor and that the clamping screw reaches the specified snug condition without over-torquing the insert screw. Inspect the seat and clamping hardware for wear or damage before each insert change to maintain dimensional accuracy.
