The ALLIANCE TF200 is a 200-watt low-voltage transformer designed to power 12-volt landscape lighting systems. It converts standard 120-volt household current to a safe 12-volt output, making it the central control point for outdoor lighting installations covering patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and garden features. The TF200 features a toroidal transformer core, which operates quieter and more efficiently than standard laminated cores. A stainless steel cabinet provides durable weather-resistant housing. A built-in photocell paired with a digital timer automates system operation, turning lights on at dusk and off at a scheduled time without requiring additional controllers.
This transformer is suited for residential and light commercial hardscape lighting projects. It serves as the power hub for path lights, step lights, wall wash fixtures, and accent spotlights across a single low-voltage lighting zone or multi-zone installation. Landscape lighting contractors and electricians select the TF200 for projects where clean engineering and reliable timer performance reduce callbacks and simplify commissioning. Its self-contained design eliminates the need for external timers or smart-home integration to achieve automated dusk-to-dawn operation.
Designed as an OEM-style power source for 12-volt low-voltage landscape lighting systems using LED path lights, step lights, wall wash fixtures, and accent spotlights.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician or experienced landscape lighting contractor. The transformer must be connected to a grounded 120-volt outdoor-rated circuit in compliance with NEC requirements for outdoor low-voltage lighting installations. Power down the circuit at the breaker before making any wiring connections. Do not exceed the rated 200-watt load capacity across all connected fixture runs.
