The ALL-SOURCE 028140 is a thixotropic, nondrip pipe thread sealant paste formulated for use on threaded pipe joints carrying water, steam, or compressed air. The paste consistency keeps the product in place during application without running or dripping, making it practical for overhead and vertical runs. At 2 oz net weight, it is packaged in a hang-tab tube suited for shop storage or service van inventory. The formulation contains no lead, is nontoxic, and cures to a gray finish. It prevents corrosion on metal threads and never fully hardens, so joints can be separated cleanly without damaging fittings.

This pipe thread compound is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC piping, and compressed air systems. Plumbers and pipefitters apply it to male threads on iron, steel, brass, and copper fittings before makeup.
