The ALL-SOURCE 019701 is a three-piece solvent cement kit that includes all the materials needed to clean, prime, and cement plastic pipe and fittings in a single package. Each component comes in a 4 oz container. The cleaner removes dirt and oils from ABS, CPVC, and PVC surfaces. The purple primer strips gloss, softens, and opens the bonding surface on PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. The multipurpose solvent cement is a medium-bodied, medium-set clear formula rated for PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe in Schedule 40 and 80, Type I and II configurations, up to 6 inches in diameter. Plumbers and pipefitters use this kit for pressure pipe, gas, conduit, drain-waste-vent, and related applications.

This kit is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing and piping work. The cleaner and primer are applied at temperatures between 40 degrees F and 100 degrees F. The cleaner flows freely and evaporates quickly to prep surfaces before priming. The purple primer is specifically recommended for high-gloss, hard-finish bell end pipe or fittings where surface preparation is critical to a sound solvent weld. Installation Notes
