The media is encapsulated in a protective polymer layer, then loosely spun on the air-entering side and progressively woven tighter on the air-exiting side. This graduated construction increases dust holding capacity, rated at 195 grams, and prevents surface loading. A heavy-duty moisture-resistant white Kraft board frame holds its shape under normal airflow conditions.
