The AIGNEP USA 88700-04-02 is a push-to-connect tube reducer fitting designed to transition between tube and stem connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. It accepts a 1/8 inch OD tube on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/4 inch OD stem on the opposite end. The body is nickel-plated brass with a Buna O-ring seal, rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure. Overall length is 1.181 inches. This fitting is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics working with compressed air, water, or compatible fluid lines.
This tube reducer is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control systems, compressed air distribution, and fluid transfer applications where a tube-to-stem size reduction is required. The push-to-connect design allows for tool-free tube insertion, making it practical for tight spaces and retrofit installations. Operating temperature range is 0 degrees F to 160 degrees F, keeping it appropriate for most indoor mechanical system environments.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect tube reducer for pneumatic control and fluid distribution systems using 1/8 inch OD tubing with 1/4 inch stem-type ports.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, or pneumatic system mechanics. Before servicing, depressurize the system fully and verify zero pressure at the work point. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely before insertion to achieve a proper seal. Follow all applicable codes and the system manufacturer's guidelines for fitting selection and pressure rating verification.
