The AIGNEP USA 87110-06-08 is a push-to-connect swivel elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-thread connections in pneumatic and fluid transfer systems. It accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/2 inch universal thread port on the swivel end. The body is nickel-plated brass with a Buna O-ring seal, rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure. The swivel elbow design allows for directional adjustment during installation, reducing stress on tubing and simplifying routing in tight spaces. Plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this fitting in air, water, and compatible fluid line applications.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic systems, compressed air distribution, and fluid handling installations where a 90-degree tube-to-thread transition is required. The push-to-connect mechanism allows for fast, tool-free tube insertion and secure retention without ferrules or compression sleeves. The universal thread type allows compatibility with a range of port standards, making it a practical choice when thread type confirmation is not always straightforward in the field.
Designed for use with 3/8 inch OD tubing on push-to-connect systems with 1/2 inch universal thread ports in pneumatic and compatible fluid line installations. Meets REACH, RoHS, ISO 14743:2004, and PED 2014/68/UE standards.
Installation is performed by pipefitters or pneumatic technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing fittings or inserting new ones. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the OD is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect end. Verify thread compatibility at the port before tightening; universal thread fittings should be inspected for proper engagement to avoid cross-threading or leaks.
