The AERVOE 216 is a water-based marking chalk in a 15 oz aerosol can, formulated for temporary upside-down surface marking. Unlike diluted alternatives, this is a true water-based formula using non-resin binders and low pigment solids in a slurry that dries quickly and holds the mark until water, traffic, or abrasion removes it. The 216 is engineered for field use by utility crews, construction workers, surveyors, landscapers, and athletic field staff who need a fast, temporary reference mark that disappears cleanly without chemical residue or surface damage.
The 216 is designed for temporary marking on most paved surfaces, soil, and grass. Typical applications include utility locating, construction layout, surveying benchmarks, landscaping boundaries, and athletic field marking. It is packaged to operate inverted by hand or inside an Aervoe Spot Marker 244 or Marking Stick 245 applicator, with or without the cap installed. For best spray results, apply from 3 to 4 inches for freehand writing or 5 to 8 inches when using an applicator for a consistent 3/4-inch line. Optimal performance occurs between 50 degrees F and 90 degrees F. This product is not recommended for aisle striping, parking lots, or traffic lines, which require Aervoe Striping Paint, or for golf course marking, which calls for Aervoe Water-Based Marking Paint.
Designed for use by hand or with the Aervoe Spot Marker 244 and Marking Stick 245 applicators. Compatible with conventional air spray systems and airless pressure sprayers for bulk application scenarios.
Shake the can well before use and for 1 to 2 minutes after the agitator ball is heard. Keep the can in motion during application to prevent puddling and agitate periodically throughout use. After each use, clear paint from the valve and tip by turning the can upright and spraying for 3 to 5 seconds. No special licensing is required for this product, but follow all site-specific safety and utility marking protocols applicable to your trade and jurisdiction.
