Supplied in a 300-foot coil, it is manufactured to SIDR 15 dimensional standards from NSF-approved raw material meeting 4710 Better Grade specifications. The flexible polyethylene construction allows for trench-following installation without the need for solvent cements or primer, making it a practical choice for water service lines, rural plumbing, and agricultural systems. Licensed plumbers and irrigation contractors are the primary installers of this product.
This pipe coil is suited for residential and light commercial water service laterals, rural well-to-structure supply lines, and drip or low-pressure irrigation distribution systems. The 300-foot coil length reduces the number of field joints required on longer runs, which is especially useful on rural properties and large irrigation layouts. The 100 PSI working pressure rating supports typical municipal and private well supply pressures found in most residential water service applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation coil for residential and agricultural polyethylene water service and irrigation piping systems using 1-inch insert or compression-style fittings compatible with SIDR 15 poly pipe.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified irrigation contractor in accordance with the International Plumbing Code and applicable local codes. Shut off the main water supply and depressurize the line before making any connections. Use fittings rated and listed for polyethylene pipe at the applicable pressure; do not use fittings designed for rigid PVC or copper without confirming compatibility. Avoid kinking the coil during unrolling by rolling it out along the trench rather than pulling from the center.
