The ADVANCED DRAINAGE SYSTEMS pvc is a 4-inch PVC flush cleanout plug with male pipe thread, designed for use in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. The plug installs into a 4-inch PVC white DWV cleanout fitting to create a watertight seal at the access point. When removal is needed, the plug comes out to allow rodding, jetting, or visual inspection of the downstream piping. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during rough-in or as part of a service call on residential and light commercial drainage systems.

This plug is used in 4-inch PVC DWV cleanout assemblies installed at grade, in walls, or at the base of vertical stacks. It can also be used with a cleanout adapter fitting installed in a wye to provide accessible entry into the drain line.
