The ADVANCED CABLE TIES WC-YW-100 is a yellow, screw-on wire nut connector designed for fast, secure electrical terminations in residential and commercial wiring applications. The connector features a ribbed cap that improves grip during installation, reducing hand fatigue on high-volume jobs. It handles a minimum wire range of 1 No. 14 plus 1 No. 18 and a maximum wire range of 4 No. 14 plus 1 No. 18, making it well suited for general branch-circuit and device wiring work. The yellow color coding allows electricians to quickly identify the correct connector for the wire combination at hand. Sold in packs with a minimum order quantity of 10 packs.
This connector is intended for use in standard electrical rough-in and finish wiring tasks. Typical applications include splicing branch-circuit conductors at junction boxes, outlet boxes, and fixture boxes in residential construction, light commercial build-outs, and retrofit work. The ribbed cap design speeds up installation on repetitive termination tasks where an electrician is working through multiple connections in sequence. Color coding by wire range is consistent with industry practice, helping service technicians and inspectors verify correct connector selection at a glance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use wire nut connector suitable for copper conductor terminations within the stated wire range in residential and light commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and verify the absence of voltage on all conductors before making any termination. Strip conductors to the length recommended for the connector size, insert the wires into the connector, and twist clockwise until the cap seats firmly with no bare conductor exposed below the skirt. Do not over-torque or use power tools to drive screw-on wire nuts, as this can damage the connector or conductor insulation.
