The ADVANCED CABLE TIES 17-50-UV-100 is a standard nylon cable tie engineered for bundling and securing wire runs, conduit, and hose assemblies in electrical, HVAC, and general trade applications. At 17 inches in length with a 50-pound tensile strength, it handles medium-to-large bundle diameters up to 5 inches. Constructed from UV-stabilized Nylon 66, the tie resists sunlight degradation, making it suitable for both indoor panel work and exposed outdoor installations. Each pack contains 100 ties. The self-locking clamping connection seats quickly by hand with no tools required, keeping installation time low on high-volume rough-in work.
These cable ties are used by electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers wherever wire management or bundling is needed. Common applications include securing wiring harnesses in electrical panels, bundling refrigerant line sets and low-voltage control wiring, organizing conduit drops, and managing plumbing supply runs. The UV-resistant Nylon 66 construction makes them appropriate for rooftop equipment installations, exterior panels, and any environment with prolonged sun exposure. The 0.19-inch width and 5-inch maximum bundle diameter suit a wide range of residential and light commercial trade scenarios.
Designed as a standard-duty cable tie for general wire management and bundling in residential and light commercial electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical applications.
Cable ties may be installed by any trade professional as part of wire management per applicable NEC or local code requirements. Ensure the tie is fully seated and the locking tab is engaged before trimming the tail flush. A flush-cut side cutter or dedicated cable-tie gun is recommended to avoid leaving a sharp edge that could damage wire insulation or create a safety hazard. Do not overtighten ties around insulated conductors in a way that deforms the jacket.
