The ACIQ es-27z-m4c / aciq-12w-hh-md / aciq-18w-hh-md is a 2-zone ductless mini split heat pump system rated at 27,000 BTU/h with a 25 SEER2 efficiency rating. The system operates on 230 volts and uses R454B refrigerant. It includes one outdoor condensing unit paired with two wall-mount indoor air handlers: a 12,000 BTU/h unit and an 18,000 BTU/h unit. This system delivers both heating and cooling, making it suitable for year-round climate control across two independent zones. Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician.
This system is designed for residential or light-commercial applications where two separate spaces require independent temperature control without ductwork. The wall-mount indoor heads are suited for bedrooms, living areas, offices, or additions where a central ducted system is impractical. The 25 SEER2 rating positions this system to meet current DOE regional efficiency standards for split-system heat pumps.
Designed as a matched 2-zone ductless mini split system. Indoor heads ACIQ-12W-HH-MD and ACIQ-18W-HH-MD are factory-matched to outdoor unit ES-27Z-M4C. Do not mix these indoor units with a different outdoor unit without confirming manufacturer compatibility.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician with EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling, as this system contains R454B. Shut off all electrical power at the disconnect before making any wiring connections. Line set sizing, refrigerant charge, and electrical supply must comply with the manufacturer specifications and local mechanical and electrical codes. Do not operate the system without verifying correct refrigerant charge and that all electrical connections meet NEC requirements.
