The ACI 107669 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed to terminate stranded copper conductors at 10 AWG (6 sq mm). The ferrule features an 18mm pin length and 26mm overall length with a 3.9mm pin diameter. A black insulation collar identifies the 10 AWG rating at a glance and protects the conductor entry point, while the uninsulated pin end seats cleanly into terminal blocks, din rail components, and other panel wiring terminations. Electricians and panel builders use these ferrules to prevent frayed strands from causing loose connections or shorting against adjacent terminals.
These ferrules are suited for residential and commercial panel wiring, industrial control panels, and automation enclosures where stranded wire must be reliably terminated into screw-clamp or push-in terminal blocks. The crimp connection provides a gas-tight mechanical bond that resists vibration and oxidation. Minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per order, making this part appropriate for contractors and shops stocking consumables in quantity.
Designed for use with 10 AWG stranded copper conductors (6 sq mm) terminated into screw-clamp or push-in style terminal blocks commonly found in residential, commercial, and industrial control panel applications.
Wire ferrules are installed by licensed electricians or qualified panel builders in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Strip the conductor to the correct length before inserting into the ferrule collar, then crimp with a ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for 10 AWG to ensure a full, gas-tight crimp. Do not attempt to crimp ferrules with pliers or non-ratcheting tools, as an incomplete crimp can result in a loose or high-resistance connection. Always de-energize the panel and follow lockout/tagout procedures before terminating wires.
