The ACI 107665 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed to terminate stranded conductors and provide a clean, reliable connection at terminal blocks, control boards, and DIN-rail mounted devices. Sized for 14 AWG wire (2.5 sq mm cross-section), the ferrule features a 12 mm pin length with a 2.6 mm pin diameter and a 19 mm overall length. The blue partial insulation collar helps identify the wire gauge at a glance and keeps strand ends consolidated during and after crimping. Licensed electricians and controls technicians typically install these in panel work and low-voltage control wiring applications.
This ferrule is suited for residential and commercial electrical panels, building automation systems, and industrial control cabinets where stranded wire must be terminated into screw-clamp or cage-clamp terminals. The partial insulation design works with standard ferrule crimping tools and is compatible with 14 AWG stranded copper conductors. These are sold as individual pieces with a minimum order quantity of 100 units, making them practical for stocking in panel shops or service vehicles.
Designed for use with 14 AWG stranded copper wire (2.5 sq mm) terminated into screw-clamp or cage-clamp style terminal blocks commonly found in residential and commercial electrical and control panels.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before terminating conductors. Use a ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for the 14 AWG range to ensure a full, consistent crimp — do not use standard pliers, as an incomplete crimp can cause loose connections or increased resistance. Insert the stripped conductor fully into the ferrule barrel before crimping to prevent exposed strands at the terminal.
