The ACI 107664 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed for terminating stranded copper conductors in control panels, terminal blocks, and industrial wiring applications. Rated for 16 AWG conductors (1.5 sq mm cross-section), this ferrule features an 8mm pin length and a 14.4mm overall length. The red insulation collar provides quick visual identification of the wire gauge at the termination point. Installed by licensed electricians and instrumentation technicians, these ferrules create clean, reliable terminations that prevent wire strand fraying and reduce connection resistance at screw-type and clamp-style terminal blocks.
This ferrule is suited for use in residential and commercial control wiring, building automation panels, HVAC low-voltage control circuits, and industrial equipment where IEC-style ferrule terminations are required or preferred. The crimp connection method is compatible with standard ratcheting ferrule crimping tools. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 100 units per order, making them appropriate for panel builders and field technicians stocking service kits.
Designed for use with 16 AWG stranded copper conductors as an OEM-style ferrule termination for screw-type and clamp-style terminal blocks commonly found in control panel and low-voltage wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC guidelines for panel and control wiring. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before terminating or replacing ferrules at any terminal block. Use a calibrated ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for 16 AWG to achieve a consistent, full crimp without overcompressing the insulation collar. Do not re-use a ferrule that has already been crimped.
