The ACI 107661 is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed for terminating 22 AWG stranded conductors in control panels, instrumentation wiring, and terminal block connections. The ferrule features an 8mm pin length with a 1.3mm pin diameter and a 14mm overall length. The orange insulation collar provides a visual indicator for quick wire gauge identification during panel assembly or field wiring. Installation requires a ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for the appropriate pin diameter. This ferrule is suited for use in low-voltage control and signal circuits where a clean, vibration-resistant termination is required.
These ferrules are commonly used by electricians, panel builders, and instrumentation technicians working on DIN-rail mounted terminal blocks, PLCs, and control panel wiring. The partial insulation design allows for tight terminal block spacing while maintaining a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per order.
Designed for use with 22 AWG stranded conductors and compatible with standard DIN-rail terminal blocks and control panel wiring applications requiring crimp-style ferrule terminations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or panel builder following applicable NEC guidelines. De-energize all circuits before terminating wires. Use a calibrated ratcheting ferrule crimp tool matched to the 1.3mm pin diameter to ensure a proper crimp. Do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools as these can produce unreliable crimps that may fail under load or vibration.
