The ACCUPRO T2670463 is a spiral point tap designed for cutting 5/16-24 UNF internal threads in through-hole applications. It features a plug chamfer for standard production threading and is manufactured from 3% vanadium high speed steel, which provides improved wear resistance and edge retention compared to standard M2 HSS. The H3 thread limit and 3B class of fit make it suitable for general-purpose threading tolerances. With 2 flutes and a spiral point geometry, it pushes chips ahead of the tap and down through the hole, keeping the flute area clear during cutting. Overall length is 2.72 inches (69.06 mm) with a 22 mm thread length.
