The ACCUPRO T2647446 is a spiral flute tap designed for cutting M10 x 1.00 metric internal threads in blind holes and through holes where chip evacuation is critical. Built from 3% Vanadium High Speed Steel (HSS), it delivers increased wear resistance and edge retention compared to standard M2 HSS. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading closer to the bottom of a blind hole. With a 40-degree helix angle and fast flute style, chips are pulled up and out of the hole efficiently, reducing clogging and the risk of tap breakage. Three right-hand flutes with a right-hand thread direction make this a standard configuration for most CNC and manual tapping operations.

This tap is suited for machining, toolroom, and maintenance applications where M10 x 1.00 fine-pitch threads are required. The fine 1.00 mm pitch makes it appropriate for thin-walled workpieces, precision assemblies, and applications where the coarse M10 x 1.50 pitch is not appropriate.
