The ACCUPRO T1620722B is a spiral point tap designed for cutting 3/4-16 UNF internal threads in stainless steel and similarly demanding materials. Manufactured from 3% Vanadium High Speed Steel, it provides increased wear resistance and edge retention compared to standard HSS tooling. The plug chamfer style makes this tap suited for through-hole threading applications where the tap can run past the bottom of the hole. An oxide finish reduces friction and helps resist corrosion during use and storage. At 4.25 inches overall length with a 37 mm thread length, this tap fits standard tapping adapters and holders used in production and maintenance machining environments.
