The ACCUPRO QA-2 M16 is a quick-change tapping adapter designed to connect M16 taps to compatible tapping heads and machine spindles in production machining environments. Built to DIN 376 standards, it accepts a 12 mm tap shank diameter and a 9 mm tap square, providing a secure, repeatable drive connection during tapping operations. The adapter features an overall length of 46 mm (approximately 1.81 inches) and a flange diameter of 48 mm (approximately 1.89 inches), with a projection of 11 mm (0.4331 inches) and a tap depth of 30 mm (1.1811 inches). Machinists and toolroom technicians install this adapter in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and tapping machines where fast tool changes and accurate tap alignment are required.
