The ACCUPRO PX01307000MSC is a keyless drill chuck designed for use on drilling machines, drill presses, and compatible rotary tools that accept a JT33 tapered mount. It accepts drill bit shanks from 1/32 inch up to 1/2 inch, covering the most common range used in metal, wood, and composite work. The keyless design allows bit changes by hand without a chuck key, reducing downtime during high-volume drilling operations. Internal ball bearings support smooth, concentric rotation at speeds up to 10,000 RPM. The steel chuck body is built to handle the torque demands of production and maintenance environments. Licensed HVAC techs, machinists, and maintenance professionals who run drill presses or portable drill machines will find this chuck a direct-fit replacement or upgrade for JT33-mount spindles.
This chuck is suited for drill presses, benchtop drilling machines, and handheld drills with a JT33 tapered spindle in both light industrial and professional shop environments. It covers a full range of bit sizes from 1/32 inch to 1/2 inch, making it practical for general-purpose drilling across a variety of materials. The keyless sleeve allows single-hand tightening and loosening, which improves workflow efficiency when cycling through multiple bit sizes on a single job. The ball bearing construction contributes to runout accuracy and long service life under continuous use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade for drill presses and rotary drilling machines equipped with a JT33 tapered spindle mount.
Installation requires pressing or driving the chuck firmly onto the JT33 tapered spindle — ensure the spindle and chuck taper are clean and free of debris before seating. Power down and lock out the drill machine before removing the existing chuck or installing this one, in accordance with OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. A chuck removal tool or arbor press is recommended for proper seating and future removal. Do not use the chuck body itself as a striking surface during installation.
