The ACCUPRO MB035100 is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on small-diameter features. Built from submicron-grade carbide with a bright finish, it delivers consistent tool life and dimensional accuracy in tight-bore applications. The bar has a minimum bore diameter of 0.035 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.1 inches, making it well suited for micro-bore work where rigidity and runout control are critical. The 1/8-inch shank diameter and 1-1/2-inch overall length allow it to fit compact toolholding setups on CNC lathes and manual turning equipment alike.
This boring bar is intended for machinists and toolroom operators working on small-diameter internal features in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its submicron carbide grade supports fine-finish passes and close-tolerance bores where high-speed steel tooling falls short. Right-hand cutting geometry makes it compatible with conventional spindle rotation on standard turning centers. Typical applications include precision bore finishing, component repair, and prototype work requiring sub-0.050-inch bore entries.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with turning tooling setup. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before securing or adjusting the boring bar in its holder. Minimize overhang beyond the holder to reduce deflection and chatter, keeping extension to the shortest length the bore depth allows. Verify shank clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specification before running.
