The ACCUPRO EM99943874 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for deburring, chamfering, and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It features a 1/8 inch cutter head diameter and a 2-flute, right-hand cutting geometry that delivers clean, consistent chamfers in a single pass. The AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and improved tool life in harder materials. With an overall length of 1.5 inches and a matching 1/8 inch shank diameter, this mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where close-tolerance chamfering is required. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers and operators.
This chamfer mill is used in precision machining environments including job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms. It is well suited for chamfering drilled holes, countersinking fastener seats, and edge preparation on aluminum, steel, stainless, and hardened materials. The single end type and compact 1/8 inch diameter make it particularly effective for small-feature work and tight-clearance applications where larger tools cannot reach. Coolant-through capability is not available on this tool, so flood or mist coolant applied externally is the recommended approach for heat management.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement chamfer mill compatible with standard 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by a machinist or tooling technician. Power down the spindle completely and confirm zero rotation before changing tooling. Secure the shank firmly in a clean, correctly sized collet or end mill holder to the torque specification recommended by the holder manufacturer. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, as carbide tools can fracture if run with pre-existing edge damage.
