The ACCUPRO EM95993501 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.035-inch cutting diameter and a 0.07-inch length of cut, this is a micro end mill built for fine detail work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life under high-speed cutting conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the spiral flute geometry supports smooth cutting action. This tool is center-cutting, allowing direct plunging into the workpiece. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in precision machining environments.
This end mill suits applications requiring small-diameter profiling, slotting, and contouring in materials such as hardened steels, stainless, titanium, and aluminum alloys. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders found on CNC mills and machining centers. The 1-1/2-inch overall length keeps the tool rigid, reducing deflection risk at this small diameter. It is well suited for mold and die work, aerospace components, medical device machining, and other high-precision tasks where feature size demands sub-0.040-inch tooling.
Designed for use with 1/8-inch collets and toolholders on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills. Compatible with standard ER collet systems and precision toolholding chucks accepting 0.125-inch shank diameters.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an estop or powered-down state before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the recommended engagement depth per toolholder manufacturer guidelines, and torque the collet nut with the appropriate spanner wrench. At this diameter, runout control is critical — verify TIR with a dial indicator before cutting.
