The ACCUPRO CL01009000MSC is a keyed drill chuck designed for threaded spindle mounting on portable and bench-mounted drilling equipment. It accepts round-shank drill bits from 1/32 inch (0.0393 inch decimal) up to 3/8 inch (0.375 inch decimal), covering the most common range used in light- to medium-duty metal, wood, and plastic drilling. The chuck body is steel construction with a plain bearing and a 33 mm sleeve diameter. Mounting is accomplished via a 3/8-24 threaded interface. The KG key type is used to tighten and release the jaws. Machinists, maintenance technicians, and general trade professionals working with standard drill presses or hand drills install this chuck as an OEM-style or replacement component.
This chuck is suited for residential shop use, light industrial maintenance, and trade applications where a reliable threaded-mount keyed chuck is needed on equipment with a 3/8-24 spindle thread. Typical installations include bench drill presses, sensitive drill presses, and handheld electric drills with the matching threaded spindle. The closed length is 60 mm and the open length is 50 mm, making it a compact fit for machines with limited spindle clearance. It ships as a single unit and is appropriate wherever a replacement or spare keyed chuck with a standard 3/8-inch capacity is specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or spare keyed drill chuck for drilling equipment fitted with a 3/8-24 threaded spindle.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with drill press and handheld drill service. Before removing or installing a chuck, power down the machine completely and disconnect it from its power source. Thread the chuck onto the spindle by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then tighten per the equipment manufacturer's procedure. Confirm jaw operation across the full capacity range before returning the tool to service.
