The ACCUPRO C911-75016 is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal 3/4-16 UNF threads. It runs 4 flutes with a 0.49-inch cutting diameter and a 1-inch length of cut, making it suitable for threading operations that require tight tolerances and clean thread form in a single helical pass. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for production environments, while the TiAlN coating extends tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. Shank diameter is 0.5 inches. This tool is used by machinists and toolroom technicians on CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation.
The C911-75016 is intended for internal UNF thread milling in applications where tapping is impractical or where a single tool must handle multiple thread depths. Typical use cases include threading blind holes, hard materials, and applications requiring left- or right-hand threads from the same tool path. At 16 teeth per inch, this mill matches the 3/4-16 UNF thread standard precisely. It is well suited for job shops, aerospace component work, and general precision machining where thread quality and tool longevity are critical requirements.
Designed for use on CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation for internal 3/4-16 UNF thread milling applications.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or milling chuck to ensure runout is within acceptable limits before threading operations begin. Confirm the machine control supports helical interpolation and that the programmed thread pitch matches the 16 TPI specification of this tool. Use appropriate speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and apply external flood or mist coolant, as this tool does not include through-coolant capability. Handle carbide tooling with care to avoid chipping the cutting edges during setup and storage.
