The ACCUPRO B320750R is a corner radius boring bar machined from submicron-grade solid carbide, designed for internal boring operations that require a precise corner radius profile. It cuts in a right-hand direction and is suited for tight-tolerance bores starting at 0.32 inches in diameter, with a maximum bore depth of 0.75 inches. The 3/8-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length make it compatible with standard boring bar holders found in CNC machining centers and manual lathes. The bright, uncoated finish maintains dimensional accuracy straight from the manufacturer. Corner radius range runs from 0.005 to 0.008 inches, making this bar appropriate for finishing passes where edge geometry is critical.
This boring bar is used in precision machining environments where small-diameter internal features require a controlled corner radius. It is well suited for shops running ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces that demand consistent surface finish and geometric accuracy in tight bores. The submicron carbide grade provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for finishing and light semi-finishing cuts at close tolerances. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms are the primary users of this bar.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for 3/8-inch boring bar holders used in CNC lathes, machining centers, and manual boring setups requiring a corner radius profile.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator following the machine tool manufacturer's setup procedures. Secure the shank fully within the tool holder to the recommended overhang length to minimize deflection during cutting. Verify spindle and coolant systems are off and the machine is in a safe state before mounting or removing the bar. Do not exceed the rated minimum bore diameter, as doing so may cause tool deflection, chatter, or workpiece damage.
